Collection of personal information of tenants from police by Northumberland County Housing Services.
Section 2(1) (definition of personal information) - the information in question was personal information.
Section 28(2) (collection) - the personal information was collected in accordance with section 28(2) of the Act.
Section 29(1) (manner of collection) - manner of collection was in accordance with section 29(1) of the Act.
Section 29(2) (Notice of Collection) – Notice of Collection was not provided in accordance with section 29(2) of the Act.
Recommendations:
1. That the County prepare a Notice of Collection that meets the statutory criteria set out in section 29(2) of the Act.
2. That the Notice of Collection be provided to all tenants.
