This report is a collaborative effort between The Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada, along with Hydro One, IBM, GE and Telvent. They take on the challenge of demonstrating how Privacy by Design can and is being operationalized into a major Smart Grid project in Ontario, and as a result, showing that privacy and an improved electrical grid can indeed be achieved in unison, in a positive-sum manner.
