Privacy by Design Challenge 2009

Summary  View Commissioner Ann Cavoukian’s introduction to the first, sold-out Privacy by Design Challenge. This event, held in 2009 at the Toronto Board of Trade, is a call to design privacy into the architecture of new systems with the result of protecting privacy without compromising performance or security. Privacy leaders from organizations such as: Intel; IBM; Microsoft, Facebook, HP and Sun presented their latest innovations in Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
