Please join us for the launch of a new Privacy by Design white paper on data security in the health-care sector, and beyond.
Medical records and health data, once stacked high inside a doctor's office or hospital department, are increasingly available electronically on portable devices such as laptops, tablets, smart phones, and USB keys. Organizations must address potential security breaches, as well as concerns about privacy. Learn how one of Canada's largest teaching hospitals, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, with over 1200 beds, has ensured the strong security of sensitive health information.
Hear from the paper's co-authors:
Dr. Ann Cavoukian
Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner
Jeff Curtis
CPO
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
Sam Marafioti
VP and CIO
