Workshop: Privacy AND Security in Computing, Networking and Systems Innovations through Privacy by Design
Date: November 4, 2009
When technology and personal information intersect, as they will in areas such as cloud computing, business intelligence and smart interactions, privacy issues arise. Protecting privacy provides technology companies with a competitive advantage – good privacy is good business. This workshop will introduce privacy technology innovation through Privacy by Design (PbD), which ensures that privacy is embedded in technology, from the outset. A positive-sum outcome – robust functionality, security and performance, as well as strong privacy protection – is its hallmark.
