Institutions that fall under the provincial or municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act  are required by these laws to report to the IPC early each year on the number of requests for information - and the number of requests for correction of personal information - they received during the past calendar year, as well as the timeliness of responses, outcomes and fees collected.

February 1, 2010 is the deadline to complete and return the statistical reports for 2009 to the IPC.

First time Online Statistical Report User:

You may input your data directly into an Online Statistical Report form at https://statistics.ipc.on.ca, after sending an e-mail to statistics.ipc@ipc.on.ca for your login and password. Please change the password, once you have logged into the system.

Existing Online Statistical Report User:

Input your data directly into the Online Statistical Report form at https://statistics.ipc.on.ca, using the login and password you used last year. If you have forgotten or don't have a login, please send an e-mail to statistics.ipc@ipc.on.ca. If you forgot the password, you can retrieve the password from the https://statistics.ipc.on.ca main page by clicking the link, "Forgot Password." The password will be auto-emailed to the person responsible for the report.
