- Police Officers' notes claimed to relate to conversations between the Police and Crown counsel. Parts of these records were found to be exempt under section 19 (solicitor-client privilege) upon reconsideration.
- Police Officers’ investigative notes that were copied and found their way into the Crown brief were also at issue. The finding that section 19 did not apply was affirmed on reconsideration.
