The Information, Privacy and Archives Division of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services will be hosting its first Municipal Access and Privacy Forum on May 10th, 2017. The Forum is intended to allow for a dialogue and information exchange for MFIPPA practitioners, and to communicate key information around access and privacy matters. Topics will include privacy impact assessments, privacy breaches, dealing with surges or high volumes of access requests, and councillor records.
Commissioner Brian Beamish will be providing the keynote address and our office will also be leading a session on significant orders and privacy complaints.
