In her closing keynote for the 2025 IAPP Canada Privacy Symposium, Commissioner Patricia Kosseim reflected on key milestones, challenges, and lessons from her first term as Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner. As she sets out to begin her second term, Commissioner Kosseim spoke of five futures: the future of privacy laws; the future of the planet; the future generation; the future of the privacy profession; and the future of the IPC.
