Reaching Out to Ontario: Kingston

As part of our Reaching Out to Ontario outreach program, the Information and Privacy Commissioner is pleased to announce a special event we will be hosting at Queen’s University on May 4. Commissioner Brian Beamish and other IPC leaders will use this occasion to update Ontarians on the access and privacy emerging issues facing the province’s health and public sectors.

Among the topics that will be discussed, include:

  • the burgeoning challenges of conducting business on personal devices;
  • protecting patient privacy;
  • recent developments in access to information; and
  • whether cloud computing services are suitable for institutions’ information management needs.

Date: Wednesday, May 4, 2016
Time: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
