In French please:
Two commissioners discuss your rights of access to information
and services in French
June 4, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Patricia Kosseim, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, and Carl Bouchard, French Language Services Commissioner, invite you to a morning of information and discussion in French, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

They will introduce you to their respective mandates and roles and describe how their two offices can help you.

  • The Information and Privacy Commissioner protects the right of individuals to access their personal information held by Ontario’s public institutions, health care providers, children’s aid societies and other child and family service providers.
  • The French Language Services Commissioner monitors and promotes compliance with the French Language Services Act, which guarantees Francophones the right to receive services in French from government agencies, including third parties providing services on behalf of the government and institutions of the Legislature.

The Honourable Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will deliver the opening remarks.

Attend this free event, in person or online, to learn more, ask questions, discover the services offered by these two offices and learn how to file a complaint with them. Note: This event is in French only (simultaneous English translation will not be provided).
